Petition

Copy_of_Royal_Glam_Leaflet.pngRecent plans have been announced that will downgrade or close our local accident and emergency. This will result in local residents having to travel over an hour to reach their nearest A&E. Lives will be at risk unless we stop this dangerous proposal.

The Labour Welsh Government are responsible for the Welsh NHS, but the First Minister Mark Drakeford has said he is unwilling to step in and save the A&E

It’s outrageous that they are even considering closing the A@E department. How do they intend to cope with the added influx to either Merthyr or Bridgend hospitals. The wait is long enough now to be seen in Casualty, it will be a nightmare if people have to travel even further. Always the same with the government, always about money. WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!

To lose the a and e at the Royal Glam H would be catastrophic for the local area. This idiotic decision definitely needs to be stopped.

As a recent user of this A&E I would have found it extremely difficult and painful to have traveled any further than I had to.. as I had to travel by car not by Ambulance as it was a 4hr wait for an available Ambulance

The public have been told a pack of lies about how the Royal Glam A+E finds itself in this state. Those responsible and who have been appointed by the Welsh government should be sent packing and get staff who want to develope the hospital and not run it down.
